A swatchin good time


Well, they aren’t award-winning, but by golly, they look a fair sight better than the iTouch photos.

Here is a yummy photo of what’s left of the yarn after the swatch:

I basically did most of one pattern repeat, with two edge stitches to each side. It looks like (in the finished object) it is not nearly so pita to block and have rumples in, which is comforting. The center has a lot of extra stitches compared to the edges, which plays a role. I’m planning on knitting a Raspberry Dream Stole (Rav link), in heavier and cozier yarn. Well, maybe not cozier, but certainly this will fulfill my desire for a large and warm winter stole.
